Thank you for considering Murph’s Trivia!

Murph’s Trivia is an independent trivia company founded in 2024.

Murphy McLachlan is the ‘Murph’ in Murph’s Trivia! He has over fifteen years experience hosting trivia, performing comedy and MCing events.

Murph has hosted hundreds and hundreds of quiz nights at pubs all across Melbourne; performed shows at Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Geelong Comedy Festival, and the Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth Fringe Festivals; was awarded Victorian Host of the Year during his time at Quiz Meisters Trivia; and has hosted several radio shows on Syn and Joy FM.

Murphy currently writes for The Chase Australia; hosts and produces his passion project Murph’s Tavern, a Simpsons podcast; and self-publishes the humorous zine Murph Mag.

Murph is loved by crowds for his friendly personality, genuine passion for trivia, and goofy sense of humour.

If you’d like to hire Murphy to host your trivia event in Victoria, he will provide the questions (and answers!), paper, pens, music, and if needed, a mic and speaker .

Murph writes the quiz himself, and for an additional fee can cater the theme of the quiz to the event if preferred.

Murph’s Trivia is perfect for pretty much any event or function big or small, including birthdays, bucks/hens nights, and fundraisers.

The quiz will typically consist of three rounds of ten questions each, and runs for approximately 90 minutes including breaks. However this can be shortened or extended if required.
